Jack Raymond Porter is Born

Last night at 10:35 Jack Raymond Porter was born!!!! After having to wait all day for a hospital bed to open up, we finally got in at about 7:00 PM, we caught a few songs from American Idol :-) and then the pitosin kicked in. Britney is AMAZING!!!!!!! A few pushes later and he was born, they had to hold her off till the Dr. showed up. I am the luckiest person alive. More pics to follow, but Jack leads to more Jack.

Rainy Easter Egg Hunt

We have had little to no rain this winter (17% of normal) and today for the Easter egg hunt it dumped. The subdivision we live in puts on a Easter egg hunt in the park and our kids love it. The kids cleaned up (ok, we went a little over the egg limit) and had a good time. (Picture leads to gallery)

One week to Jack

One week till Jack is born. Britney is pretty uncomfortable, but a real trooper. She wasn't too excited about letting me take her picture :-), but people always comment on how beautiful she is pregnant and I couldn't agree more!

Uncle Marc in Town

(Marc)

Scott's Brother Marc was in town to make good on Scott's Christmas present. We went to the Sonics game on friday night (they won) and then did some Karting saturday night. Good times. Marc won the Karting by a tenth of a second which was obviously due to Sam and I getting bunk cars.

I know we look like we are about to rob a convienience store, but we the hoods keep the community helmets somewhat clean.

Gracie with no training wheels!!!

(Click for video)

I got back from Germany and Gracie asked if she could ditch the training wheels. The video footage was literally her 2nd attempt at no training wheels, the first was about 3 mins long and then we had to go to dinner. She was a natural.

Scott goes to Germany

I recently returned from Munich where I was on business for Microsoft. I am working on a project with Mercedes around bringing mobile devices into the car. I got to do about 135mph on the auto-bahn (both with my colleagues and with a half sleeping taxi driver.) I was only there about 6 days and was eager to get back in case the baby came early.

Inagural Post

I must have said 100 times this past year that i need to start posting news and info about our family. So I finally did something about it, hence ScottandBritney.com. I know its not very original but hey, the domain was available :-).
