Sophie Turns 1

Today we went to our niece Sophies 1st birthday party. It was somewhere between a Silver Spoons Rick Schroeder type party, except Menudo didn't perform :-(, and a school carnival complete with games and prizes. It was pretty impressive for a 1 year old party, my kids are definetly going to make me up the ante next year after going to this party.

Gracie is sporting the new shorter summer doo, we hit the salon last Saturday and she had it cut where the teenagers go. She is looking so old these days and I can't believe she will be in Kindergarten in August!!!!

Jack is 1 month old

Lucas turns 3!

Lucas made the big jump to being 3 (for a while he thought he thought he was turning 4). We had the family over and Britney made some tasty fajitas, and he had 2 cakes (one a lemon cake request from Grandma Marsha, go figure). I think people thought it was required to bring some sort of vehicle themed present, except for Aunt Emily who gave him a fishing set. It was a fun surprise for Aunt Katie come down for school. Birthday Season

Since all of our kids have birthdays within a month of each other, April is definetly birthday season. Gracie turned 5!!!!!!! I cannot believe how old she is and how old it makes me feel. She had some friends over during the day for a Pink Party and then the next night our family hit Chuck E. Cheese for some bad food and good ticket winning. We upgraded her to a 12" bike for her birthday and scarily she has managed to increase her speed 3X (we upgraded to a new helmet as well). Lucas moved into the little red bike and thinks he's big stuff. Click the picture for all the birhtday pics.
