Lucas is famous (but don't mention it to him.)

Lucas (and my feet) made the Seattle Times eastside section on Wednesday. We took the kids to Bellevue where they have a temporary ice arena for some ice skating and managed to get our picture taken for the paper. We were with our friends Brian and Kelly Soligon who also had a shot taken of Brian and Marissa and were sure they were "in" the paper. I mentioned to Brian that I talked to the photographer and told her my dad was her former boss which pretty much deflated all his hope of getting in the paper. Nevertheless, my nepotism card was played right and we made the paper. By the way, don't mention it to Lucas, we kept telling him he was famous and didn't like the attention. He kept telling us to not say he was famous. Click the pic for the larger picture.

Trip to Leavenworth

We took a pre-Christmas trip to Leavenworth for some skiing and playing in the Bavarian town. Emily hooked us up with a condo from one of her co-workers so we went for 2 nights and snuck in a half day at Stevens Pass . Gracie and Lucas took ski lessons at the kids club and had a great time. Gracie Winter Recital

We went today to Gracies dance recital. She was perfect as a ballerina and did a great job. Click on the picture of Gracie for a video of the performance.

Soligon Photography

Our good friends Brian and Kelly Soligon are giving photography a go, so they invited us over for a test shoot. Brian has all the gear and all the ambition to become the hottest photographer in Klahanie! (thats a bit of a joke, Klahanie is his subdivision :-). But seriously, we got some great shots of the family and the kids with this as my favorite. check out Jack on their site, he made the frontpage!

Holiday Photos

I just realized I hadn't posted any pictures from Halloween or Thanksgiving. Click on Jack to see pictures from Salt Lake City with my brother Marc and his family and Britney's family. I just realized that we only have pictures of the activities and none of the actual feast. We had a ton of fun and the kids played with cousins the whole time.
