Christmas Eve/Morning

We have had 3 sick kids so we skipped the family Christmas Eve festivities at my parents house and hung out at home. Jack has a new found obsession with underwear, which is actually to our advantage. He has been stripping off his diaper at random times, so now we throw some Bob the Builder underwear over his diaper and he is in heaven! He wouldnt think about taking them off. Click on Jack for some more photos of the Christmas festivities.

Mom's Christmas Gift

For Christmas Marc, Paige, Britney and I gave my mom a portrait/sketch of my Grandpa Tame. You know its a big hit when she couldn't speak for a few minutes due to the tears. Our neighbor April Philips did the portrait and did a perfect job.

Winter Storm 2006

The power is back on and Christmas can proceed! We actually didn't lose power for as long as some (2 guys in my office got power back last night, 6 days!), but we were out for about 60 hours. Thanks to my Dad who had bought me a generator a year ago, we were warm, we had light, and we had movies :-). It was pretty crazy how many trees were down and how many people were without gas, power and food. We were pretty well prepared and made it just fine, the kids even wanted the power to be out longer so we could all sleep in the family room around the gas stove for a few more nights. We had friends over and played games to pass the time.

Church Christmas Program

We had an Angel and a Shepard in the the church nativity program this year. Lucas looked sort of like a warrior which made the program a little more bearable for him. I told him he was a warrior but had to act like a shepard, after that he was into his role. Gracie looked beautiful and had a real halo.
Check out the Obi-Wan-Kenobi in her picture, it just isn't Christmas with out Obi-Wan making an appearance.

Holiday Cheer

We took the kids down to Redmond Town Center to see Santa and snap a quick photo (apparently not allowed at the $65 a picture place). Jack would not look at Santa, but he did keep it together, check out the gallery for his picture. We ran into our friends the Nykamps so we took the kids on the train and let them run around a bit.
