Fillin' up the Mini-van.....

It is with great pleasure that Britney and I announce the forthcoming of our 4th (in a series of 4) progeny to the Porter house. That's right we are having a Baby!! We are officially at capacity when it comes to the little-ones so we are both excited and nervous to welcome another. You may say...wow 4 kids, what is that like? Well, I'm not sure yet, but I do have dreams about forgetting one at the store, or not realizing one had a soccer game, or forgetting to count them all before going to church and realizing the 2 year old is at home still on the couch watching TMNT (teenage mutant ninja turtles). So, I think as this new baby comes along I am going to resort to some sort of barcoding and scanning system that allows us to track our children like you would inventory. It's the only thing I can think of that will let me rest in peace.

Anyway, below are some scans of the first ultrasound. Britney is about 14 weeks right now so we are on target for another spring baby. The Dr. said that even though it is early to tell what the sex of the baby is, he's 99% sure (bet his good name one it) that we are having another BOY.......back to my bad dreams: add to my dreams ones of damage to other peoples property, run ins with the law, and trying to get the girls to "meet behind the play toy after school".....sigh.

This first shot is what I call "The Pecker" shot. All though it may be unrecognizable to the human eye, there is actually a penis standing out near the red arrow. Dr. claims it is for SURE a boy. I still have some small doubts.

This shot is called "The Alien". We were able to have a special ultra-sound since Britney is special (not short bus special, just special) and it is amazing what you can see at 14 weeks. I love the hands up by the face.
