Jack is 2

Today was Jack's birthday and the start of the Porter birthday season. We had a small celebration with a few friends to celebrate his big day (can't just have 1 party so another is this Saturday with the whole family...) He has been talking all day about his "birt day potty" and clearly gets that it is his day.

And it just wouldn't be a Jack birthday without Jack having some massive amount of gooo hanging from his nose. If you remember last year we posted a video of some really nasty booger/icing ickiness.

We be jumpin...

Our friends parents were moving from a big house to an apartment so they are trying to do a considerable downsizing (gotta love the granparents that buy everything for the grand kids :-) Sooo we purchased their like-new trampoline for $100...sweet. I grabbed one of the guys from church and we spent 4 hours in the rain taking it down, moving it to our backyard, then reassembling. I have to say that since it has been up the kids are out their rain or shine. We also un earthed a hidden talent of Britney's, she can back flip, round-off, and other tricks a mother of 3 usually doesn't perform on a trampoline.

Angelic Jack

Here is a picture that our neighbor April did of Jack. She did our other kids around a year ago so we had her do Jack's picture while he still looked young. The picture is very cute, but it makes him look waaaayy too angelic, lets just say he is more devil than angel at this point.

To provide proper contrast I have supplied the second picture to show the real Jack in his non-airbrushed/touched up form.

Aunt Megan's Birthday

We hosted Aunt Megan's birthday party at our house. We started with some good food (a must), then Emily brought a Nerf dart gun and so we did a dart competition...I won't say who won...oh wait it was ME! Then we feasted on the birthday cake made entirely out of Little Debbies products (see the picture). The night was capped with an episode of 24. Click on the picture for the gallery.

Valentines Day

Britney loves to decorate and celebrate every holiday (yes, we even celebrate Groundhog's Day). Below are some pictures of Valentines Day morning and our breakfast celebration. We usually do some waffles and all the fixins plus a ton of candy. Good start to the day :-).
