Last Mexico post, now back to reality

Here's the rest of the photo's from our trip to Mexico. Back to kids, mid 70's temperatures and no pina colada mix in sight. Sighhhhh. Click on the picture for the full gallery (some duplicates from before).

Swinging through the jungle

We went up into the jungle and took the Canopy Tour via zip lines. The highest line crossed a valley 550 ft. above the ground and was around 200 ft long. If you get stuck part way you either have to pull yourself "hand-over-hand" to the platform or the guide comes out and gets you, watch the video and you will see a few of us got stuck a few times :-).

Punta Mita

We spent the day up at a little town called Punta Mita at the Blatter's posh condo. We did a little sea kayaking, surfing (no good waves), and a whole lotta lounging. Click on the bald guy and the super model to see the gallery from the day.

So we made it to Mexico and are having a blast. A bunch of friends from college, no kids, and this is the view from where I ate my breakfast :-). We're off to surf for the day........rough.

Memorial Day in Chelan

We had a great Memorial Day weekend in Lake Chelan with a few friends from church. We managed to get out on the lake but the water was FREEZING, we are talking not able to talk cold. The place we stayed was great for the kids, putt-putt golf, parks, a great view of the lake, etc. We even timed it perfect with the traveling fair that was ran by some of the scariest individuals I've seen since Fredie Krueger. Anyway, the rides managed to stay together and the carnies behaved themselves so it turned out fine :-). Click on the picture for the gallery.
