I am old.

In my mind I feel 21, but then I hang out with the 18 year old guys at church and realize I am old. I know I'm old, but I guess it becomes a bit cleared when you look at the pictures above. Jordan (18) is on the bottom getting huge air, and I am on the top struggling to get daylight between the board and the water. Sighhhhh........

The depression took place in Sandpoint Idaho with our friends the Rands. We went for a few days and had a blast doing some boating, boarding, Risk playing, and eating. The kids loved hanging out in the waterfall and riding on the jet ski, all Jack could say was "I wanna go faster".

Visit from Grandma and Grandpa Thorpe

Brent and Tami made there way out west and came to visit for a week. The weather has been so lousy lately it completely ruined our "come visit Seattle in the summer" pitch we always give people. The weather did manage to cooperate for the later half of the week and so I took a day off and went to the San Juan Islands (about an hour from our house) and did some whale watching (didn't see any), eating, visiting a lavendar farm (my personal fav) and of course kite flying. I have to say it turned out to be a perfect day trip. We also snuck in a boat trip on Lake Washington and had a perfect day of fish-n-chips and cruising. Click the picture for the gallery.
